Frederick, MD - Off a win on Saturday and continuing their southward swing, Cedar Crest visited Hood College on Sunday but unfortunately came away with a 2-0 loss to the Blazers.

Hood was immediately on the offensive, peppering Cedar Crest goalkeeper Lindsay Harrison (Hanover, PA, Littlestown) with a dozen shots and seven corners before the Blazer's Megan Cahill finally got one past in the 28th minute of the game for a 1-0 Hood lead. The Falcons recorded three shots during the first half and the second half was more of the same, with Cedar Crest unable to find scoring opportunities and Hood adding a second goal about ten minutes into the period for the 2-0 final score. The Falcons managed four shots on goal to Hood's 11, but Harrison had nine saves.

Cedar Crest drops to 1-8 overall and 1-2 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference. Hood improves to 3-5. The Falcons will play a non-conference game under the lights at Albright on Thursday, October 6th, at 7:00 PM.
