Aurora, NY - On the road at non-conference opponent Wells College on Sunday, the Express used a second-helf surge to down the Falcons 5-0.

Neither team could find the back of the cage in a defensive battle throughout the first half, until Wells' Elizabeth Rollo scored just before the break to take a 1-0 lead.

The Express upped the intensity in the second half, firing over twice as many shots and eventually notching four more goals in a seven minute span late in the period, including one on a penalty stroke. Wells' Shelby Moszkowicz finished with two goals and an assist.

Wells held a significant advantage in shots and penalty corners, and Cedar Crest goalie Lindsay Harrison (Hanover, PA/Littlestown) had 16 saves.

Cedar Crest falls to 1-15 overall and 1-6 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference. Wells improves to 5-9. The Falcons will close out their season on the road at Bryn Mawr College for a non-conference game on Thursday, October 27th, at 3:30 PM.
