Allentown, PA - On Senior Day Saturday, Cedar Crest outplayed Colonial States Athletic Conference opponent Notre Dame of Maryland but could not capitalize, falling 1-0 to the Gators.

After a scoreless first half, the Gators' Chrisline Kimball scored the game's only goal in the 78th minute.

The Falcons outshot the visitors 17-12, and 12 to 6 in the second half alone, but could not find a way to get the ball past Notre Dame keeper Heather Lancellotti. Lancellotti had 11 saves, and Cedar Crest's Daniella Mendez (Cedar Grove, NJ/Montclair Kimberly Academy) had five.

Prior to the game, seniors Samantha Huey (Nutley, NJ/Nutley), Jenn Rittenhouse (Pennsburg, PA/Upper Perkiomen), Jess LeBel (Millis, MA/Millis), Tia Schober (Mickleton, NJ/Kingsway Regional), and Daniella Mendez (Cedar Grove, NJ/Montclair Kimberly Academy) were honored for the contributions to the soccer program.

With the loss, Cedar Crest drops to 5-12-1 overall and 2-7 in the conference. Notre Dame improves to 5-9 and 2-7 in the CSAC. The Falcons will next play on the road at Marywood on Tuesday, October 23rd, at 4:00 PM.
