Aston, PA - An evening game in damp and sloppy conditions at Colonial States Athletic Conference foe Neumann University were all likely contributors to a 5-0 Cedar Crest loss on Wednesday.

The Knights went 22 players deep on the Falcons, capitalizing on Cedar Crest's short roster and overwhelming them with a 17-1 differential in shots on goal. Neumann scored early and seemingly with ease; the Knights' Nice Meccariello had two goals and an assist.

No one on the Cedar Crest squad seemed to be able to step up and mount any sort of attack. Even the normally-solid Daniella Mendez (Cedar Grove, NJ/Montclair Kimberly Academy), although she had 12 saves, struggled with the slick ball and seemed out of sorts.

Cedar Crest drops to 4-7-1 overall and 1-2 in the CSAC, while Neumann is 5-3-2 and 1-1 in the conference. The Falcons will enjoy a home game on Friday, October 5th, at 4:00 PM against conference opponent Cairn University.
