Allentown, PA - The Falcons played an offensively strong game against Colonial States Athletic Conference foe Cairn University on Friday but struggled to find the back of the net. They prevailed by the slim margin of 1-0.

Despite many good lucks for Cedar Crest, the teams battled to a 0-0 tie at halftime. Fortunately, the always-reliable Courtney Long (Coopersburg, PA/Southern Lehigh) finally put one in, unassisted, from right in front of the goal in the 47th minute. The Falcons then held off the Highlanders the rest of the way for the win.

With the win, Cedar Crest improves to 5-7-1 overall and 2-2 in the CSAC. The Falcons will play another home game on Tuesday, October 9th, at 4:00 PM against conference opponent Gwynedd-Mercy College.
