PSU Harrisburg too much for Falcons

Allentown, PA (November 27, 2012)  Twelve days after falling to Penn State Hazelton to open the season, the Falcons found themselves facing the Harrisburg campus of the State University.   After forty minutes, the result was the same, this time the Nittany Lions won 75-53.  Junior Amber Wehry (Klingerstown, PA/Tri-Valley Jr/Sr) continues to carry the scoring load for Cedar Crest, leading all scorers with 19 points, senior Megan DeMutis (Norristown, PA/Kennedy-Kenrick Catholic) added 12 and sophomore Denny Spingola chipped in 10 in the defeat.  Penn State placed four players in double figures; Miranda Zeanchock  had 18, Mercedes Copeland added 13, Amanda Moyer tallied 12 with Stephanie Yetter contributed 10.

The Falcons have played five consecutive games at Lees Hall Gymnasium, going 1-4, their lone win came on Sunday, November 18 against CSAC foe Notre Dame University of Maryland.  This Thursday, Cedar Crest travels to St. Joseph's College of Brooklyn for their first road game of the season and the first of two consecutive road games this semester.  St. Joseph's is  0-3, losing at the hands of NYU, Hartwick and Mount Saint Vincent in the early part of their schedule. 

The game will be played at Brooklyn Technical High School with a scheduled start time of 7:00 pm. Live video and stats will be available at Live Video.
