12/2/2012 9:12:00 AM

Box Score Morristown, NJ (December 1, 2012) For only the second time this season, Cedar Crest hit the road, this time traveling to College of Saint Elizabeth.  With the stinging memories of their first road game behind them, the Falcons hoped to right the ship against the 0-2 Eagles.    Continuing to compete for 40 minutes, Cedar Crest was no match for St. Elizabeth; who shot a season high 51.5% from the field and 42.1% from the three point line in route to an 80-49 victory.

For the second time this season, junior Amber Wehry (Klingerstown, PA/Tri-Valley Jr/Sr) broke the 20 point mark, tallying a game high 25 points and eight rebounds.  Wehry continued to finish at the foul line making 12-14 free throws, 85.7%, and shooting 6-12, 50%, from the field.  Fellow Falcon, sophomore Denyell Spingola (East Haddam, CT/Nathan Hale-Ray) totaled 12 points, six rebounds and four assists.  As a team, Cedar Crest made 19-27 free throws for 70.4%.

The Falcons are back in action Monday, December 3, at Lees Hall Gymnasium as they host Neumann University in their Colonial States Athletic Conference opener at 7 pm.
