Immaculata, PA - On Saturday, Cedar Crest notched their first Colonial States Athletic Conference win of the season with a 2-0 victory over the Mighty Macs of Immaculata University.

Strong showings by the defense and by goalkeeper Lindsay Harrison (Hanover, PA/Littlestown) combined to keep the Macs scoreless.

After battling to a scoreless tie at the half, the Falcons finally got on the board midway through the second half when Emily Rodenberger (Pennsburg, PA/Upper Perkiomen) scored on a feed into the circle from Wendy Martin (Mt. Pleasant Hills, PA/Midd-West). Erin Studer (Kent, CT/Housatonic Valley Regional) added the second goal late in the game on a stick flick over prone Immaculata goalie Patsy Murphy.

With the win, the Falcons are now 4-5 overall on the season and 1-1 in the CSAC, while Immaculata drops to 0-9 and 0-2 in the conference. 

On Monday, October 1st, the Falcons travel to DeSales for a previously rained-out game at 4:00 PM.
