Season Stats

Allentown, PA - Cedar Crest remains undefeated on the season with 4-1 home victory over Hood College in non-conference action.

While the score may make it seem as the the Falcons had the game well in hand, it was actually a fairly close game at the start. Hood took the early lead, then Cedar Crest tied the score at 1-1. The game remained tenuous until the second half, when the Falcons broke it open with three unanswered goals. The scoring was spread around nicely, with goals from four different players including Jess Sanbeg, who also had an assist. Emily Rodenberger (Pennsburg, PA/Upper Perkiomen) had a goal for the third consecutive game, and Lauren Salge (Robbinsville, NJ/Allentown) and Rebecca Lowe each added a goal. Brittany Hartman (Myerstown, PA/Eastern Lebanon County) had an assist.

Senior Lindsay Harrison (Hanover, PA/Littlestown) had 15 saves in the win.

With the win, Cedar Crest improves to 3-0 on the season, while Hood falls to 1-2. The Falcons will continue their home stand with a non-conference game against Wesley College on Friday, September 14th, at 4:00 PM.
