Cabrini and Cedar Crest Honor Wounded Warriors

The Falcons working on two days rest, did battle with the Cavaliers of Cabrini College.

It was all Cabrini from the beginning as they would out-score the Falcons 30-12 in the first half.

The second half would be more of the same for the Falcons who saw the Cavaliers (13-3/8-0) expand their lead in the first two minutes of the half.. With both teams working the floor Cabrini's size and numbers would be too much for the Falcons and would eventually beat the Falcons (2-15/1-8) 80-28.

For the Falcons junior Amber Wehry (Klingerstown, PA/Tri-Valley Jr/Sr) finished with a team high 9 points, while teammates Denyell Spingola (East Haddam, CT) and Megan Demutis (Norristown, PA/Kennedy-Kenrick Catholic) each finished with 6 a piece. The Cavaliers had nearly three players score double doubles, with Amber Keys and Brittany Sandone each dropping 12 points in the victory.

Cabrini improves to 13-3 overall and stays perfect in the conference with an 8-0 record. The Falcons drop to 2-15 and 1-8 in the CSAC. The Falcons are on the road to start next week off, as they travel to Gwynedd-Mercy College for a CSAC battle that is scheduled for 7 PM.
