In the consolation final of the Hilton Garden Inn Holiday Tournament, the Cedar Crest College Basketball faced off against Lehman College.

The Falcons, looking to turn their luck around in the tournament would find some success against the Lehman defense.  "I thought we moved the ball well" said Assistant Coach Sarah Pasetsky, "We played our game and I thought it showed today."  Junior DeJanet Lantion (Silver Spring, MD/John F. Kennedy) led all Falcons in the first half, picking up eight points and two offensive rebounds.  Other first half standouts for the Falcons included freshman Taylor Osley (Allentown, PA/Louis E. Dieruff High School) who collected seven first half points and was a perfect 2-2 from the free throw line.

The second half would see the Falcons pick things up offensively as Junior Breonna Lewis (Abingdon, MD/Sovereign Grace Homeschool) who shake off her first half funk and drop in seven for the Falcons.  Amber Wehry (Klingerstown, PA/Tri-Valley Jr/Sr), who inched within 31 points of 1,000 for her career, collected six second half points along with four offensive rebounds and three defensive.  Kayleigh Keggan (Blairstown, NJ/Belvidere) also chipped in with six second half points.

The Falcons would drop the consolation final to Lehman College 67-50 to drop to 1-4 overall and 0-2 at home.  The Falcons will have just one day of rest before they hit the road for a non-conference game in Baltimore, Maryland as they face off against Goucher College on Tuesday.  Game time is set for 7:00 PM.
