The Falcons saw another opportunity to end their 11 game losing streak slide by tonight. Cedar Crest (2-19, 1-11 CSAC) fell to Valley Forge Christian College 64-38.
For the Falcons,
Megan DeMutis and
Amber Wehry led the way each scoring in double digits. DeMutis would finish with 11 points and four rebounds, while Wehry led the Falcons with 13 points and three rebounds.
The Falcons struggled out of the gate shooting just 16% from the field, and 20% from beyond three point range. The second half would be a different story for Cedar Crest as they finished off the half shooting 36% from the field and 40% from beyond the arc.
The Falcons are off on Friday as they get set to host Rosemont College on Saturday. Saturday's game will also be special as Cedar Crest will also honor their 1,000 point scorers during a ceremony before the game. Game time for Saturday is set for 1:00 PM.
