The Falcons faced tough competition against Wilkes University in a Thursday afternoon battle in women's Lacrosse.

Less than a week removed from spring training the Falcons (0-3)  would come up short in their attempt to end their two game losing streak.  The Colonels (2-0) would score 13 times in the first half with Chelsea Thompson (Coatesville, PA/Collegium Charter School) scoring the lone first half goal for Cedar Crest.

The second half would be a defensive battle as Cedar Crest limited Wilkes production to just five second half goals.  

For the Falcons teammates Amy Frey (Hellertown, PA/Saucon Valley) and Kim Katsigianis (Amherst, NH/Souhegan) would both finish with four groundballs each, while Krysten Gillan (Maple Shade, NJ/Maple Shade H.S.) and Emily Rodenberger (Pennsburg, PA/Upper Perkiomen High School) both finished with three.  Katsigianis would also finish with 18 saves.

The Falcons now fall to 0-3 overall and will host Gwynedd-Mercy College on March 20th for the Home Opener, game time is set to start at 4:00 PM.
