In game one of Head Soccer Coach Sarah Wolcott's career at Cedar Crest, she remained positive going into game one.  "Last year, the team beat Cairn 1-0, so we felt good about today's game".  The Falcons got off to a strong start thanks in part to Courtney Long (Coopersburg, PA/Southern Lehigh) and her two first half goals.  Long would first tie the game at 1-1 then bring the Falcons within one before the first half would wrap up 3-2.  The second half would be all Highlanders and they would match their first half scoring three more goals.  

Goalie Krysten Gillan (Maple Shade, NJ/Maple Shade H.S.) would play the entire 90 minutes in goal and finish with seven saves.

The Falcons are now off until they host the Cedar Crest College Soccer Tournament on September 7th & 8th.
