Box Score La Plume, PA
The Cedar Crest College Basketball team took to the road to face Keystone College to open up this week of competition.
The Falcons looking to start off another winning streak took to La Plume. Â The Falcons opened up a strong first half with 27 points to Keystone's 33. Â "You have to come out and want to play, you have to come out and we did in the first half" said Head Coach
Ty Taylor  Taylor had several top performances in the first half including
Breonna Lewis (Abingdon, MD/Sovereign Grace Homeschool) and
Amber Wehry (Klingerstown, PA/Tri-Valley Jr/Sr). Â Â "We had a great first half and it really showed tonight".Â
The second half was more of the same for the Falcons as they put in 30 more points for one of the strongest second half performances this season.  "It was a great game from start to finish"  said Taylor  "We came out to play".  The Falcons pulled several positives from tonight's performance including Lewis who continued her hot streak scording 24 points and grabbing 17 rebounds. Â
Kayleigh Keggan (Blairstown, NJ/Belvidere) also had one of her best performances as a Falcon with 13 points and six rebounds. Â
Shaquira McCottry (Philadelphia, PA/Girard College) chipped in with eight points and four boards and
DeJanet Lantion (Silver Spring, MD/John F. Kennedy) would add seven of her own points and finishe 3-5 from the free throw line.
The Falcons would fall to the Giants and fall to 3-13 overall and 1-7 in the CSAC.
