The Cedar Crest College Basketball team opened up 2014 for Cedar CRest College athletics on the road with a non-conference game against Hollins University in Roanoke, VA.

December Athlete of the Month winner Amber Wehry (Klingerstown, PA/Tri-Valley Jr/Sr) led the Falcons with 10 points and seven rebounds while junior Breonna Lewis (Abingdon, MD/Sovereign Grace Homeschool) and freshman Taylor Osley (Allentown, PA/Louis E. Dieruff High School) both would drop in eight for the Falcons.  Lewis would also lead the Falcons in grabbing six defensive rebounds, the most on the team.  DeJanet Lantion (Silver Spring, MD/John F. Kennedy) also chipped in for the Falcons dropping in four for Cedar Crest.

As a team the Falcons shot 21.1 % from the field and 23.5% from beyond the arc.  The Falcons also finished 33.3% from the Free Throw Line.

The Falcons collected 31 total rebounds including 10 offensive boards.

The Falcons fall to 1-9 overall and will again on the 8th when they travel to Marywood University for a CSAC contest, game time is set for 7:00 PM.
