The Falcons hit the road for their 2014 season opener against Houghton College.  Despite putting six shots on goal and one in the next, the Falcons would fall to Houghton 8-1.  Emily Rodenberger (Pennsburg, PA/Upper Perkiomen) netted her first goal of the season in the final minute of regulation.  With that goal Rodenberger now bumps her career total to 28, and still holds the career record in goals.  

Other standouts for the Falcons included senior Jessica Sanbeg (Effort, PA/Pleasant Valley) who finished with two shots, both on goal while first year player Kelsey Ward (Philadelphia, PA/Franklin Towne Charter) and Sophomore Rachel Stump (Fleetwood, PA/Fleetwood) would both collect a defensive save.

The Falcons next game will be their home opener as they host King's College (PA) on September 3rd at 4:00 pm.
