Box Score RANDOR, Pa.--- The Cedar Crest College soccer team fought a top of the league Cabrini College in a 2-0 loss during Colonial States Athletic Conference match-up on Tuesday night.
"We played our hearts out tonight," commented Head Coach
Sarah Wolcott. "I'm so proud of our players. They didn't give up for one second and matched every ounce of effort put forth by Cabrini.
Caitlyn Mann (Harrisburg, PA/Central Dauphin) stepped up big and led us for the back tonight."
While the Cavs held a strong offensive attack, with the defensive line and goalkeeper holding strong as a unit held the Cavaliers to two goals. The Falcons managed to get two shots off, the first by sophomore forward
Alexandra Zoda (Poughkeepsie, N.Y. /Roy C Ketcham Senior ) at the 18:00 minute mark of the first half that was saved by the goalkeeper. The second shot was by freshman forward
Kelsey Kehm (Trappe, Pa./Perkiomen Valley ) that the keeper was also able to scoop up for the save. Sophomore goalkeeper
Morgan Maddock (Brick, N.J./Brick Memorial High School) made 11 saves on the evening.
The next game for the Falcons is on Thursday, October 27 as they face Immaculata University at 4:00 p.m. in their final game of the season.
