Box Score Scranton, Pa.--- The Cedar Crest College soccer team traveled to Marywood University for a Colonial States Athletic Conference show down as the Falcons fell, 6-0, on Saturday afternoon.
The Pacers led a strong offensive attack that proved to be too much for the Black and Yellow as the team was unable to get a shot off in the first half. Freshman goalkeeper
Cara Montanye (Pine Bush, NY/Pine Bush Central ) started the first half and made four saves. Sophomore goalkeeper
Morgan Maddock (Brick, N.J./Brick Memorial High School) came in in the 21
st minute of the first half to complete the game for the Falcons as she made six saves.
In the second half the team was able to get three shots off, the first by junior forward
Kari Vanderslice (Clementon, NJ/Highland Regional) who was slightly off target missing high. Sophomore midfielder
Kassandra Miller (Fallington, Pa./Pensbury Senior ) fired the next shot for the team that sailed just wide to the right of the net. The final attempt for Cedar Crest was in the 82 minute finishing high as the team fell, 6-0.
The next game for the Falcons is on Tuesday, September 27 at 4:00 p.m. as the team welcomes CSAC foe Keystone College to Allentown, Pa.
