Box Score RADNOR, Pa. - The Cedar Crest College basketball team fell 49-84 to Colonial States Athletic Conference foe Cabrini University on Saturday afternoon.
In the first quarter of play, the Falcons dropped to the Cabrini University Cavaliers 12-16. Cabrini held off Cedar Crest to keep the lead going into halftime, 22-50. The Falcons played a tough third quarter to try and gain the lead, but fell 35-69. After a close fourth quarter with the Falcons scoring 14 to the Calaviers' 15, Cedar Crest ultimately dropped, 49-84.
Freshman
Geminii Cabrera (Reading, Pa./Berks Catholic) led the Falcons with 27 points, four assists, two steals and nine rebounds.
Taylor Osley (Allentown, PA/Louis E. Dieruff High School), a senior, put 14 points, one assist and one steal on the board for Cedar Crest. Junior
Shameca Thompson had six points, one block and two steals.
Alissa DiGuglielmo, a freshman, tallied two points and two steals for the Falcons.
Cedar Crest will take the court again at home on January 11 to play fellow CSAC member Clarks Summit University. The game is set to begin at 7:00 PM.
