Box Score HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. - The Cedar Crest College basketball team opened Colonial States Athletic Conference play for the 2017-2018 season Wednesday night against Centenary University. The Falcons battled the Cyclones, but ultimately fell 44-73. 

Cedar Crest took the first quarter of the game, beating the Centenary 13-12. The Cyclones came back to take the second quarter and the 26-15 lead heading into half time. In the third quarter, the Falcons scored 11 points to the Cyclones' 24 points. Cedar Crest scored another 18 in the fourth and final quarter, but Centenary took the win 73-44.

Sophomore Geminii Cabrera (Reading, Pa./Berks Catholic) had a team high of 18 total points. Cabrera also added two assists, one block and nine rebounds for the Falcons. Natasha Barber (Dallas, TX/Ranchview), a freshman, tallied 11 total points while bringing down two rebounds. Sophomore Sylera Weller (Lancaster, Pa./J.P . McCaskey) netted eight total points and had three steals on the night for the Falcons.

The next game for the Falcons is on Saturday, December 2 at home against CSAC-foe Clarks Summit University. Tip off is set to begin at 2:00 PM.
