Box Score ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Cedar Crest College basketball team fell 69-23 to Cabrini University in a Colonial States Athletic Conference matchup on Saturday afternoon.
The Cabrini University Cavaliers took an early lead, scoring 18 points in the first quarter, while the Falcons would only post 2 on the board. Going into halftime, the score was 37-9, with Cabrini still in the lead. Cedar Crest would put another seven on the board in the third quarter. The Falcons would ultimately fall to the Cavaliers 69-23.
Sophomore
Tenille Stewart (Pennsauken, NJ/Pennsauken) led the Falcons in points with nine.
Stewart also tallied six rebounds.
Geminii Cabrera (Reading, Pa./Berks Catholic), a freshman put five points on the board and had six rebounds. Junior
Shemeca Thompson (Bridgeport, CT/Warren Harding) had a team high of eight rebounds and also netted two points for the Falcons.
The Falcons will travel to CSAC-foe Gwynedd Mercy University on February 8 to take on the Griffins. The game is set to begin at 6:00 PM.
