BRYN MAWR, Pa. - The Cedar Crest College field hockey team lost 2-0 to non-conference Bryn Mawr on Friday afternoon. 

In the first half, the Bryn Mawr Owls scored off of a penalty corner, shooting just past sophomore goalkeeper, Emma Ryan (Sterling, Va./Park View). Freshman midfielder Annalise Unger (Burlington, VT /Rice Memorial ) took a shot at the 30 minute mark, but was stopped short by the Owls' goalkeeper. Ryan had a total of seven saves in the first half. 

In the second half, sophomore Makenzie Kistler (Walnutport, Pa./Northampton) shot, missing just wide of the goalie. The Owls would take another shot, with Ryan coming up for the save, but then shot again and scored off of the rebound, lifting the score 2-0. Ryan tallied four saves. 

The Falcons take the road again to play non-conference Bryn Athyn on September 6. The game is set to begin at 7:00 PM.
