Box Score CLARKS SUMMIT, Pa. --- The Cedar Crest College women's basketball team suffered loss to CSAC opponent Clarks Summit University on Saturday afternoon by a score of 65-57 with a record of 3-13 on the year and 2-7 in conference play.

Senior center Meghan Gregory (Buckhorn, NM/Cliff ) finished the game with a double-double, tallying 13 points and 11 rebounds. Gregory also added three blocks, one assist and one steal. Sophomore guard Sylera Weller (Lancaster, Pa./J.P . McCaskey) netted 17 points and seven rebounds, while also adding three assists. Sophomore guard Geminii Cabrera sank 14 shots for the Black and Yellow while bringing down three rebounds and putting up five assists. 

Freshman guard Natasha Barber (Dallas, TX/Ranchview) finished the contest with seven points, five assists and seven rebounds while sophomore forward, Venus Cabrera (Reading,Pa./Berks Catholic), dished out three points, five rebounds, one assist and one steal. Freshman guard Khanue Robinson added three points and five assists for the Falcons. 

The Falcons fell in the first quarter 20-11, before coming back to take the second 21-16. Entering halftime, Cedar Crest trailed Clarks Summit 36-32. Battling hard after the intermission, Cedar Crest put up 12 points in the third quarter to the Defenders' 10 to cut their lead by only two points, 46-44. The Defenders outscored Cedar Crest in the final quarter of the game, netting 19 points to the Falcons' 13, before ultimately falling to Clarks Summit, 65-57.

Cedar Crest travels to Gwynedd Mercy on January 24 for a CSAC matchup. Tip off is set to begin at 7:00 PM.
