Soccer season comes to an end in 4-1 ECAC loss to Albright

READING, Pa. --- The Cedar Crest College Soccer team concluded their 2018-19 season in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Tournamnet against Albright College Saturday afternoon.
 
Cedar Crest ends their record breaking season with a 12-5-1 record, best since their 10-win season in 2004.
 
The Falcons found themselves in a hole, allowing the Lions to score a minute and a half into the match to put the game at 1-0. The Black and Yellow would find the equalizer in the 26th off a deflection from the goalkeeper, sophomore Daria Warner (Harrisburg, Pa./Bishop McDevitt) put her shot in the net to tie the game at 1-1 for her 15th goal of the season. In the 40th minute, Albright would regain the lead and Cedar Crest would enter the half, trailing 2-1.
 
Starting the second half, the Lions would net their third goal in the 58th minute and their fourth and final goal in the 71st minute, as the Falcons suffered the 4-1 loss.
 
Senior goalkeeper Morgan Maddock (Brick, N.J./Brick Memorial High School) faced nine shots, making five saves in her last match in a Falcons' uniform.
 
The Falcons attempted four shots with two going on net and one goal and one corner kick while Albright attempted 14 shots, nine on the keeper and four goals and four corners.
