CENTER VALLEY, Pa. --- The Cedar Crest Basketball team suffered a loss to the DeSales University, 23-111 in Billera Hall Saturday afternoon.

The Falcons now 1-2 on the season, were defeated by the Bulldogs in the Morgan Stanley Tip-Off Tournament and will now play in the consolation game tomorrow.

The Falcons scored a total of 23 points in the match, scoring 10 in the first half and 13 in the second half. Leading the Black and Yellow was freshman
Joana Cainglet (Collegeville, Pa./Pope John Paul II), who scored six points and two rebounds while graduate student
Meghan Gregory (Buckhorn, NM/Cliff ) scored four points, four rebounds, two blocked shots and two assists.

Geminii Cabrera (Reading, Pa./Berks Catholic) and
Mackenzie Borger (Kresgeville, Pa./Pleasant Valley), and freshman
Tania Bryant (Willingboro, N.J./Doane Academy) each scored three points for Cedar Crest.
Cabrera added a rebound with
Borger contributing two rebounds and a steal while
Bryant added a steal.
Freshman
Amiyah Peters (Plainville, Conn./Plainville) made one basket and an assist with sophomore
Khnaue Robinson (Newark, N.J./Great Oaks Legacy Charter) and freshman
Tiesha Fortune-Saunders (West Haven, Conn./West Haven) each making a free-throw and brought down three boards in the loss.

The Falcons will return to Billera Hall tomorrow, November 18 when they play in the Consolation Game versus either Penn. State – Lehigh Valley or Stevens Institute of Technology beginning at 2:00 PM.
