DANBURY, Conn. - The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has announced that Cedar Crest College Soccer team has been selected into 2018 ECAC Division III Women's Soccer Championship Tournament. First round play will begin on Saturday, November 10.

Sarah Wolcott. "I am ecstatic we have been selected as one of the 16 teams that will compete in the ECAC Tournament."
The Falcons had their season come to an end in the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Semifinals match in a 2-0 loss versus Centenary University last Saturday. Cedar Crest will enter the ECAC Tournament coming off of their best season in school history, a 13-4 record and 8-2 CSAC record.
Cedar Crest was selected as a 4-seed in Pod 4 of the ECAC Tournament and will travel to Reading, Pa. to take on Albright College who turned in a record of 11-4-2. The other matchup in pod 4 features No. 2 seed Westminster College (15-5-1) versus No. 3 seed Alfred University (11-7).
"This team has worked so incredibly hard this season, and they totally deserve this. It's great to see all of their hard work and dedication pay off."
