ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Cedar Crest College basketball team dropped a 63-52 decision to non-conference opponent Centenary University (N.J.) on Tuesday night at Lees Gymnasium.
The Falcons fall to 1-4 overall with the loss while the Cyclones improve to 5-2 on the young season. Centenary posted 17 points in the first quarter to seven from Cedar Crest, pitting the Falcons at a 10-point deficit going into the second. The Cyclones kept the Falcons to single digits in the second stanza with a 20-8 margin. Cedar Crest heated up in the third and held a 21-16 edge in the third before netting 16 to Centenary's 10 in the fourth for the 63-52 final.

Ashley Wilson (Norwalk, Conn./Norwalk), registering a game-high 28 points to go along with six rebounds, four assists, and six steals. Freshman
Rachel Bilger (Philadelphia, Pa./Upper Dublin) followed with 10 points, seven boards, and three assists. Classmate
Francess Suah (Philadelphia, Pa./Constitution ) pitched in eight points along with a game-high 13 rebounds. She also tallied two assists and a steal. Senior
Amiyah Peters (Plainville, Conn./Plainville) rounded out the scoring with six points off the bench.
Cedar Crest concludes its season-long five-game homestand on Thursday, December 2 when the welcome in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) opponent Notre Dame of Maryland University for a 7:00 p.m. tip.
