ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Cedar Crest College basketball team lost its regular-season finale, falling to visiting Bryn Athyn College, 60-58, in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action on Thursday night. Prior to the game, the program recognized its lone senior,
Amiyah Peters (Plainville, Conn./Plainville), in a special ceremony.
The Falcons got off to a strong start, holding an 18-10 advantage. The Lions came back in the second and outscored Cedar Crest 17-14 as the Falcons entered the half with a 32-27 advantage. The third quarter was a low-scoring affair with Bryn Athyn edging the home squad, 12-11 and had a six-point edge in the fourth for the 60-58 final.

Ashley Wilson (Norwalk, Conn./Norwalk), who scored a game-high 24 points while adding six rebounds, two assists, and a steal. Classmate
Jenna McDonald (Ovid, N.Y./South Seneca) finished with 18 points on 7-for-11 shooting (3-for-3 from three) and also pitched in four boards, five assists, and five steals.
Bryn Athyn was paced by junior Terrae Lewis (Newark, N.J.), who finished with a double-double of 15 points and 12 rebounds. Junior Kaylia Duncan (Reading, Pa.), freshman Norma Thornhill (Greenbelt, Md.), and Reilly Ward also finished in double figures for the Lions in the win.
The loss ends the season for the Falcons (6-15 overall, 5-13 CSAC). Bryn Athyn (9-12 overall, 7-9 CSAC) will round out the regular season on Saturday, February 19 at Clarks Summit University. Start time is set for 1:00 p.m.
