VILLANOVA, Pa. – Sophomore
Rachel Bilger (Philadelphia, Pa./Upper Dublin) and senior
Ashley Wilson (Norwalk, Conn./Norwalk) of the Cedar Crest College basketball team were honored in the release of the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) End of Season Awards and All-Conference Teams, as announced on Wednesday morning.
Bilger was the Falcons' representative on the All-Sportsmanship Team while Wilson collected First Team All-Conference honors.
Bilger played in 16 games, starting in all of them. She averaged 6.2 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. She registered a total of 99 points, 114 rebounds, 31 assists, 19 steals, and five blocks in her sophomore campaign.
Wilson earned her third career All-Conference nod, landing on the First Team. The senior had a record-breaking season for the Falcons. She led the conference in points per game (23.0) and was second in the league in steals per game (4.2). Wilson also ranked among the conference's best in three-point field goals per game with 2.4, which ranked third in the league. She recorded 437 points, 123 rebounds, 57 assists, 79 steals, and 14 blocks this season. Wilson broke the program records for three-pointers made and steals. She concluded the season with 158 career three-pointers and 187 steals. Wilson broke the 1,000-point milestone on January 21 against Rosemont and now sits at sixth on the all-time scoring list with 1,207 points. She concluded the season ranked fourth in Division III in points per game.
Cedar Crest finished the season with 3-16 overall record (3-14 CSAC).
