IMMACULATA, Pa. – The Cedar Crest College soccer team battled Immaculata University to a 0-0 draw Friday afternoon at Draper Walsh Stadium in the season opener for both teams.

Bella Bozen (Lockport, Ill./Lockport Township) played the full 90 minutes and made nine saves. Sophomore Emily Guthier (Sewell, N.J.) converted three saves for the Mighty Macs.
As a team, Immaculata outshot Cedar Crest, 11-5, with the Mighty Macs having a 9-3 edge in shots on goal. Senior Nicole Winouski (New Egypt, N.J.) paced Immaculata with three shots, all of which came on goal. Senior Jessica Grindle (West Deptford, N.J.), junior Kelsey Caldarelli (Elkton, Md.), and sophomore Bella Bonilla (Warrington, Pa.) had two shots apiece. with both teams having four shots on goal.

Abril Riley (Levittown, Pa./Harry S. Truman) registered a pair of shots on goal for the Falcons while senior Oliva Kelly and junior
Madison Balliet (Palmerton, Pa./Palmerton Area) finished with one shot apiece.
Cedar Crest (0-0-1 overall) will stay on the road for a match at Penn State Mont Alto on Tuesday, September 5 at 4:00 p.m. Immaculata (0-0-1 overall) will travel to Lancaster Bible College for its next contest on Sunday, September 3 at 4:00 p.m.
