ALLENTOWN, Pa. — Cedar Crest College fell to Immaculata University in a 3-0 decision on Saturday morning. All three goals were scored by Immaculata in the third quarter, sealing the win. Cedar Crest managed just two shots throughout the match and was unable to find the back of the net.
The match between the Falcons and Mighty Macs began with both teams exhibiting strong defensive efforts. Cedar Crest's junior
Shelby Heater (Lehighton, Pa./Lehighton Area) took her position as goalie, while Immaculata's first year Mackenzie Schrack did the same for the visitors. The quarter was marked by Immaculata's attempts to break through Cedar Crest's defense, with sophomore Alexis Andrada and first year Morgan Barnes each attempting shots that went wide of the goal.
Cedar Crest's defense held firm throughout the quarter, successfully keeping Immaculata off the scoreboard. As the first quarter concluded, neither team had managed to score, leaving the match at a 0-0 stalemate.
The second quarter commenced with Immaculata applying pressure on Cedar Crest's defense. Immaculata earned several penalty corners early in the quarter but was unable to capitalize, with the Flacon's defense successfully blocking shots from sophomore Victoria Atkinson and junior Maria Berenato.

Immaculata's Alexis Andrada netted a goal early in the third quarter, assisted by Morgan Barnes, putting the visitors ahead at 31:57. The Mighty Macs continued their offensive push with Andrada scoring again at 33:51, extending their lead to 2-0.
The pressure mounted as Andrada completed a hat-trick with her third goal at 38:54, assisted by first year Maria Freeman, increasing Immaculata's advantage to 3-0. The Falcons were unable to counter, and the quarter concluded with the home team trailing 3-0.
Cedar Crest entered the fourth quarter looking to shift the momentum but faced consistent pressure from Immaculata.
