ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. – The Cedar Crest College swimming team sits in fifth after day one of the Atlantic East Conference Championships on Thursday, being held at St. Mary's College of Maryland. The Falcons tallied 56 points on the opening day of the Championships.

Rylie Heusner (Scranton, Pa./Holy Cross), sophomore
Madison Nadasi (Bushkill, Pa./East Stroudsburg North), and first-year
Maria Aragon (Albuquerque, N.M./Rio Grande) took fifth in the 200-yard medley relay, clocking a time of 2:12.90. The fifth-place finish earned Cedar Crest 28 points.
In the 800-yard freestyle relay, the relay team of first-year
Nyasia Fernandez (Allentown, Pa./William Allen), senior
Alyssa Reinhart (Easton, Pa./Easton), Nadasi, and Aragon touched fifth in a time of 10:21.63, collecting another 28 points.
Cedar Crest returns to the pool for day two of the Atlantic East Conference Championships on Friday, February 13 with the prelims starting at 10:00 a.m. followed by the finals session beginning at 5:30 p.m.
