LATHAM, N.Y. – For the second time this season, sophomore
Ella Bincarosky (Coopersburg, Pa./Bethlehem Catholic) of the Cedar Crest College basketball team has been recognized as the United East Conference Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced on Monday.
Bincarosky continues to be the Falcons' sharpshooter, helping her squad to two conference victories on the week. The sophomore opened up with a 24-point performance in a midweek win over Harrisburg before dropping 32 points on Notre Dame of Maryland on Saturday. The guard was hot from all over, shooting 67% (20-30) from the field and 60% (15-25) from beyond the arc. She also tacked on three assists and seven boards.
Bincarosky and Cedar Crest (17-8 overall, 9-4 United East) has earned the No. 4 seed in the United East Conference Championship Tournament and will host fifth-seeded Notre Dame of Maryland University in a quarterfinal matchup at 1:00 p.m.
