ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Cedar Crest College tennis team lost to Lancaster Bible College in a final score of 7-0 in United East Conference play on Tuesday afternoon. The Chargers swept all six singles matches and secured the doubles point with straight-set victories in each match.

Gracelynn Pauley (New Oxford, Pa./South Western) and junior
Grace Huff (Pottsville, Pa./Pottsville Area) fell 6-0 at No. 1 doubles, while first-year
Jade Wilson () and junior
Cam Beverage (Taylor, Pa./Riverside) were defeated 6-0 at second doubles doubles. At No. 3 doubles, senior
Megan Perrine (Mount Vision, N.Y./Gilbertsville-Mount Upton) and sophomore
Ella Bincarosky (Coopersburg, Pa./Bethlehem Catholic) concluded their match with a 6-2 scoreline.
In singles play, Wilson competed at first singles but was overpowered with a 6-1, 6-0 result. Beverage faced a similar outcome at No. 2 singles, ending 6-2, 6-0. Pauley was unable to secure a game, finishing 6-0, 6-0 at third singles.
Bincarosky put up a fight at No. 4 singles, but ultimately fell 6-2, 6-3. Perrine's match at fifth singles ended 6-0, 6-0, while Lancaster Bible took No. 6 singles by forfeit.
Cedar Crest (0-6 overall, 0-4 United East) next hosts Penn State Harrisburg on Saturday, April 4 at 1:00 p.m. Lancaster Bible (4-5 overall, 4-0 United East) will stay on the road to face Cairn University on Thursday, April 2 at 3:00 p.m.
