ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Thirteen Cedar Crest College student-athletes were inducted into the Chi Alpha Sigma Class of 2026, the National College Athlete Honor Society. The Class of 2026 earned a combined GPA of 3.72.

Chi Alpha Sigma, the National College Athlete Honor Society, is a nonprofit organization with 498 active chapters nationwide. Founded in 1996 by then DePauw University head football coach Nick Mourouzis, the society recognizes student-athletes who excel both academically and athletically, while fostering lifelong connections through a shared commitment to achievement.

To be inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma, student-athletes must be members of a varsity team at a four-year accredited institution affiliated with the NCAA or NAIA. Inductees must also have achieved junior academic standing after their fourth full-time semester and maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
