Nicole Sott

Sott concluded her second season as the Head Field Hockey Coach in the fall of 2022. 

In her second season, Sott led Cedar Crest to an 8-9 overall record (4-2 CSAC), guiding the Falcons to the CSAC Tournament semifinals. At the conclusion of the season, eight of her student-athletes earned All-Conference honors, highilighted by Co-Offensive Player of the Year Kiley Marone. 

During Sott's first season at the helm of the Falcons, she guided the program to a 9-9 overall record with a 5-2 mark in the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC), which culminated with a berth in the CSAC Championship game. Sott had five student-athletes named as All-Conference selections. 

Sott came to Allentown after coaching at the high school and college level. She began her coaching career as a volunteer assistant coach at King's College (Pa.) in 2017-18. She then became the assistant coach at the high school level, coaching Wyoming Seminary, where the squad won the PA State Championship in 2018-19. Following that, Sott became a graduate assistant coach at NCAA Division II Frostburg State University in 2019, where she took part in building the newly added program. She graduated with her master's degree in sports management from FSU. 
 
Sott played one year at NCAA Division I St. Francis before transferring to King's College (Pa.), where she played three years for the Monarchs. During her time at Kings, the Monarchs won the MAC Freedom Tournament in 2018 to earn a bid to the NCAA Tournament. She was named to the All-MAC Freedom Second Team selection in 2015 and 2016. Sott was also named to the MAC Fall Academic Honor Roll for three consecutive years, as well as earning a spot on the ZAG Field Hockey / NFHCA Collegiate National Academic Squad.
