Gabby Lopez

Gabriella Lopez is currently in her second year as the Assistant Soccer Coach at Cedar Crest College.  During her first season as Assistant Coach, Lopez saw an offense increase and put several players into the top 5 of different conference rankings. 
Before coming to Cedar Crest, Lopez was a student athlete at NCAA Division I Temple University where she played 3 years of soccer. A Midfielder, Lopez Made 30 starts in the 40 games she played in the 2010/2011 season. Lopez was unable to play her 2012 season due to an injury.

Lopez's resume includes playing and starting for the Barbados U20 National Team that competed in World Cup qualifiers.  She was also a member of the Barbados Football Association Women’s League,U20 team and captain of the Barbados U20 National Team that competed in World Cup qualifying. During the World Cup Qualifying she was as a significant threat in both appearances .Lopez also made appearances and  competed as a National Team player in the 2010 Women's World Cup Qualifier in Trinidad and 2013 World Cup Qualifier in Puerto Rico where she registered 10 shots in their win over Dominica. She is currently the Captain of the Barbados Women’s National Team.

In her free time, Lopez was a volunteer coach for The Anderson Monarchs girl’s soccer team and a volunteer coach for the St. John Sonnets women's team.
