The Cedar Crest College soccer staff added Sam Busillo in 2016, she will take on the role of Assistant Soccer Coach as well handling responsibilities of Recreation and the newly renovated fitness center. Busillo was a three year starter and team captain at Division II Kutztown University where she tallied three goals and six assists as a defender.
Over her four years Busillo earned a number of accolades, she was a two time All-Atlantic Region, was on the NSCAA Second Team in 2014 and 2015 and earned Daktronics Second Team honors as well as being named to the CCA Second Team. Busillo earned All-PSAC First Team honors in 2014 and 2015 while being a three time PSAC Scholar-Athlete. She was her team MVP, and while in the honors program she was named to the Dean's List four times which earned her the D2ADA Academic Achievement Award twice.
Busillo earned a Bachelor of Science in Leisure and Sports Studies and a minor in coaching. She is currently on the roster for the Lehigh Valley Tempest, the newest club of the Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL). She holds NSCAA Goalkeeping Level 1 Diploma.
