Traub enters his first season as the Assistant Tennis Coach in 2022-23.
He comes to Allentown following two years as the Assistant Women’s Tennis Coach at Scranton University. Traub has been actively involved in coaching both basketball and volleyball in the Philadelphia Middle School Athletic League.
He also comes to Cedar Crest with over 40 years of coaching experience where Traub helped countless players improve their craft while simultaneously finding their love of the game.
Prior to his coaching days, Traub was the No. 1 singles player for his high school team, losing only one match and also had the opportunity to represent the league at the district playoffs each year.
Following high school, Traub went onto play tennis at West Chester University for four years, seeing time at No. 2 singles and No. 1 doubles. He earned a No. 15 ranking in singles and No. 2 in doubles in the Middle States region of the USTA.
“I am so very excited to be the assistant coach of the tennis team here at Cedar Crest College,” said Traub. “I can’t wait for our season to begin and to be on the courts again!”
