Fleagle joined the College as the College's Director of Athletics on October 17, 2022. Fleagle is an accomplished leader in athletics, with 12 years of experience in administration and 17 years of collegiate coaching experience.
"I am incredibly excited for Christy to lead Falcon athletics, and I look forward to working with her to drive the continued growth and success of our athletics department," says Cedar Crest College President Elizabeth Meade, PhD.
Fleagle came to Cedar Crest from Neumann University where she served as the Associate Athletic Director for Compliance and Student Services, as well as the Senior Woman Administrator. At Neumann, Fleagle directed the coaching staff, guided strategic decision making, and oversaw 23 varsity athletics and nine club programs comprised of up to 400 student-athletes. She also served as the Head Women's Lacrosse Coach at the University for eight years, leading the team to four consecutive Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) championship games and an impressive overall record.
Prior to her time at Neumann, Fleagle served as the Head Women's Lacrosse Coach at St. Bonaventure University and Jefferson University.
