Flank enters his third season as the Head Cross Country Coach and fourth season as the Head Track & Field Coach in 2025-26.
In 2024-25, Flank guided the Falcons to a sixth-place finish at the United East Conference Cross Country Championships and a second-place finish at the United East Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships, the highest finish in program history.
Flank, a native of Easton, Pa., will make his head coaching debut with the Falcons. He is a graduate of Muhlenberg College, where he was a four-year member of the cross country and track & field programs and a three-time All-American.
After the conclusion of Flank's collegiate career, he began coaching cross country and track & field at the high school level, serving as a volunteer coach at Wilson Area High School. While at Wilson, he helped create and oversee workout and race plans for the boys' and girls' cross country and track & field teams. Flank also collaborated with the coaching staff to enhance the team culture. Additionally, he was a volunteer wrestling coach at Wilson Area and Pleasant Valley High Schools from August 2017 through December 2021.
Flank will take over all aspects of the cross country and track & field programs. The cross country team placed fourth at the 2022 Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) championship meet and the track & field program finished third at the 2022 CSAC championship meet.
"Coaching athletics in any capacity has always been a passion of mine and I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to do that at the highest level as a Falcon," stated Flank. "I am thankful to the Cedar Crest community for giving me this opportunity and cannot thank my support system enough for helping me get here."
A two-time Academic All-American and four-time All-Academic Team selection, Flank graduated from Muhlenberg with a degree in environmental science and public health.
