Allentown, PA - A solid 8-3 Delaware Valley College Aggie team from the Middle Atlantic Conference visited Cedar Crest and made short work of the young Falcons. The hosts lost in three sets by scores of 25-17, 25-11 and 25-11.
Unlike recent outings, the Falcons just didn't seem to bring their best stuff tonight. Cedar Crest's Fab Four freshmen Becca Grady (Silver Spring, MD, Paint Branch) had seven kills, Kiersten Collins (Forest City, PA/Forest City Regional) (Forest City, PA, Forest City Regional) had five, Deb Lobien (Lehighton, PA, Lehighton) had 13 assists and 12 digs, and Nikki Johnson (Ashley, PA, Holy Redeemer) had 16 digs in the loss.
Cedar Crest is now 5-5 overall and 0-2 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference, and Delaware Valley improves to 9-3 and 1-1 in the MAC. Next up the Falcons will play a CSAC match at Immaculata on Saturday, September 24th, at 11:00 AM.
