Immaculata, PA - Despite success at home so far this season, the young Falcons have found no love on the road, losing another Colonial States Athletic Conference match by a score of 3-0. This time the host was Immaculata, and the scores were an uncharacteristic 25-18, 25-16 and 25-18.
Cedar Crest freshman Jessica Lobien (Lehighton, PA, Lehighton) led the Falcons with eight kills and two aces along with 14 digs, while twin sister Deb Lobien (Lehighton, PA, Lehighton) had 15 assists and also had 14 digs. Nikki Johnson (Ashley, PA, Holy Redeemer) led Cedar Crest in digs with 22.
With the loss, Cedar Crest is now 5-6 overall and 0-3 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference. Immaculata improves to 4-4 and opens conference play at 1-0. The Falcons will next play a non-conference match on the road at Valley Forge Christian College on Tuesday, September 27th, at 7:00 PM.
