Immaculata too much for Falcons

Cedar Crest has had their trouble with CSAC opponents all season, Saturday afternoon was no differen.  Immaculata was led by four different scorers in double figures, Chrissy Esbensen bensen led the offensive charge for the Mighty Macs (7-12, 5-5 CSAC) with 19 points in just 18 minutes on the floor. Sara Smith scored 14 points on 7-for-7 shooting from the field, and she had five assists and four rebounds. Jackie Deegler and Katie Durkin were the other scorers in double digits with 10 points apiece. The Falcons started off slow shooting only 35% from the field in the first half and only 33% from beyond the arc.  For the second half, the Falcons offense started heating up as Cedar Crest would finish the second half shooting 45% overall from the field, and an impressive 67% from beyond the arc.

For the Falcons Amber Wehry led the way with 15 points, three rebounds and three assists.  Wehry finished off the game 100% from the charity strip finishing 4 for 4.  Kaleigh Keengan finished with nine points, thanks in part to shooting 75% from the three-point line (3/4), and Megan DeMutis (Norristown, PA/Kennedy-Kenrick Catholic) finished with eight points and two rebounds. 

Cedar Crest (2-18, 1-11 CSAC) will finish their road trip with a match-up at Valley-Forge Christian College with a 7 PM start scheduled for Thursday night.
