Playing with the minimum amount of players due in large part to injuries, the Cedar Crest Falcons Field Hockey Team took the field against Wesley in Field Hockey action earlier tonight.

For the Falcons, Emily Rodenberger (Pennsburg, PA/Upper Perkiomen) and Kaitlyn Brendlinger (Westmont, NJ/Haddon Twp.), both September Athlete of the Month nominees continued their stellar play on the field and in the goal.  Brendlinger, who conitnues to be one of the top goalies in saves in the NCAA, collected 22 more for 167 on the season.  On the field Senior Jessica Sanbeg (Effort, PA/Pleasant Valley) finished with two shots on goal, Vivianna Samite (Oakridge, NJ/Jefferson Twp.) would put one shot on goal and Emily Rodenberger (Pennsburg, PA/Upper Perkiomen) would finish with five shots, four of which were on goal.

The Falcons drop to 0-9 on the season and will be off until Tuesday the 8th when they travel to Radnor, PA to take on Cabrini College.
