The Cedar Crest College Volleyball team took time before today's CSAC volleyball match to honor senior
Amber Wehry (Klingerstown, PA/Tri-Valley Jr/Sr). Â Amber, who wraps up her volleyball career with today's game has been a staple for the Falcons in more than one way. Â Wehry is also a standout Basketball player for the Falcons and more recently, a lacrosse player.
Wehry who has the ability to play nearly any sport is highly respected by coach Rotimi "She's going to be hard to replace next year, she's the whole package and that's really hard to find" Â Rotimi went on to talk about her drive and inspiration to her teammates "She's a very hard worker and for her I know today really meant alot, it was a very fun season and I am proud to be able to call myself her coach"
The Falcons would use the inspiration from the opening ceremony to sweep the Cyclones in three straight games winning 25-12, 25-14, 25-6.
For the Falcons Wehry and
Kiersten Collins (Forest City, PA/Forest City Regional) led the team in kills with nine, while teammate
Rebecca Grady (Silver Spring, MD/Paint Branch) collected eight. Â Freshman standout
Celina Danish (Allentown, PA/Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts) finished her first season with the Falcons with 25 more assists and
Chloe Ciraco (New Rochelle, NY/New Rochelle) led the team in digs with nine.
The Falcons finish the season 10-13 overall and 4-7 in the CSAC.
