The Cedar Crest College Volleyball Team did something Wednesday night that they haven't done this season, sweep a Tri-Match.  Game one would be a typical Falcon volleyball game as they would battle back and fourth with NJCU (New Jersey City University), but the veterans would step up for the Falcons in set one as Rebecca Grady (Silver Spring, MD/Paint Branch) and Jessica Lobien (Lehighton, PA/Lehighton) would each be responsible for vital kills and points for the team.

Set two would see senior Amber Wehry (Klingerstown, PA/Tri-Valley Jr/Sr) go on a spree of points bringing the Falcons back from down 11-7 to lead 15-12.  Grady and Lobien would each chip in once again for Cedar Crest who would go on to easily win set two 25-18.

Set three would be a different story for the night as the Falcons quickly found themselves trailing 11-5.  The comeback would then go into full throttle as Ericka Clayton (Zionsville, PA/Allentown Central Catholic), Lobien, Grady and Freshman Celina Danish (Allentown, PA/Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts) would all contribute to take the lead 18-15.  They would never look back from that point as Cedar Crest would go on a 7-2 run winning set three 25-17.  

The sweep would be complete with the team effort.  Danish would finish with 19 assists and Grady would collect 10 kills in the victory.  Kiersten Collins (Forest City, PA/Forest City Regional) would finish second in game one in kills and collect six of her own.  

The Falcons will turn right around in this Tri-Match and face the College of Staten Island at 7:00 PM.
