Looking to turn their luck around the Cedar Crest College Falcons Field Hockey team took to the road in a regional match-up against the Monarchs of King's College.
The Monarch's took a quick lead collecting the first five goals and hold a 5-0 lead until Falcons scoring leader
Emily Rodenberger (Pennsburg, PA/Upper Perkiomen) would find the back of the net and put the Falcons on the scoreboard. Â Rodenberger now has four goals on the season and has also collected eight total points.
Kaitlyn Brendlinger (Westmont, NJ/Haddon Twp.) would play all 70 minutes in the goal continuing to be one of the top goalies in Saves Per Game in the NCAA and collected 11 more saves to add to her career. Â Brendlinger now has 118 saves on the season with a .645% save percentage.

Jessica Sanbeg (Effort, PA/Pleasant Valley) would both put three shots up for the Falcons, both finishing with two on goal.
The Monarch's would finish the game up 12-1 as the buzzer sounded for the game.
The Falconsare now off until the travel to Dover, DE for a match-up against Wesley College on October 4th.
