The Cedar Crest College Volleyball team took to the road for their conference opener as the Falcons took on the Raven in CSAC action.

The Falcons would have little trouble as they would cruise to a 3-0 win, winning 25-12, 25-9, 25-19.  The Falcons were on such a roll that it took less than 90 minutes to win all three sets.

For the Falcons, Rebecca Grady (Silver Spring, MD/Paint Branch) led the team in kills finishing with seven on the day, while Amber Wehryu would finish just one shy of Grady with six kills of her own.  Standout Celina Danish (Allentown, PA/Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts) would play all three sets and collect three kills of her own while leading the team in assists with 10.  Kiersten Collins (Forest City, PA/Forest City Regional), Denise Castillo (New Rochelle/New Rochelle High School) and Jessica Lobien (Lehighton, PA/Lehighton) would all finish with two kills on the day, while Lobien would also finish with one assist.

Lobien would also finish just one shy of the team high for digs as she would collect 11 and Ericka Clayton (Zionsville, PA/Allentown Central Catholic) would finish with 12.  As a team the Falcons collected over 20 kills, and 39 digs on the day.

The Falcons now sit at 6-4 overall and 1-0 in the CSAC and now are riding a two game winning streak which they will take to Phoenixville, PA as they travel for a non-conference match against Valley Forge Christian College on monday, game time is set for 7:00 PM.
